Just a Minor Setback...

Grand Opening Delayed For One Week...

Due to some unfortunate compatibility issues between our software and the hosting servers, we will need a few more days to make sure the two are paired up properly, and then a couple more days to conduct test transactions to ensure smooth functionality.

The problem is only a minor glitch, but the last thing we want when the site goes live and we officially open for business, is for even one customer to experience technical difficulties based upon their address, which I'm afraid there is a possibility of that happening with the way the current software is set up and installed.

For those of you who were looking forward to the grand opening as much as we were, I really do apologize for the wait and any inconvenience it may have caused you.  We are working hard to resolve the issue because we not only want to make our service available to you as quickly as possible, but also to make it accurate and reliable.  To ensure this, I have implemented a 24 delivery guarantee which is unparalelled in the grocery delivery industry.

Put simply, as long as you complete your checkout by 7:00pm, we will GUARANTEE that you will get your groceries delivered the very next day...otherwise, YOUR ENTIRE GROCERY ORDER IS FREE!

That's right, I'm not insane.  It is all part of my commitment to excellence in serving you and the great people of Florida.

Do you have any feelings about the delay?  Or how about our incredible next day delivery guarantee?  Please feel free to post your comments here if you do, or even ask any questions you might have.  This blog is monitored constantly and your posted comment will be replied to promptly.

Thank you all again for your amazing support of this oh so important company.  We look forward to hearing your comments and concerns.

T-MINUS 72 HOURS!

Just 3 more days!

Low and behold, it's already Tuesday as I write this and the circus that is destined to be Grand Opening Day is now only 3 short days away.  I can't believe that the journey to this point has been so long, yet passed so quickly!

As we frantically rush to keep adding more items to our incredible website inventory, I've just finished putting the finishing touches on our office furniture, telephone support equipment, and a few accessories to make our amazing office staff feel just a bit more comfortable while they handle your super important questions and concerns.

Today's biggest dilemma was weather or not the company should go with a VOIP based telephone system, or a traditional land line one.  Each have their pros and their cons, and quick as I am to make the well rationalized executive decision, I opted to go with both!  That might sound like I wimped out to a few of you, but it really was the best way to maximize the benefits of both systems, while systematically minimizing the weaknesses of each as well.  If there is any one specifically important lesson I have learned in my years as a business owner, it's that REDUNDANCY IS YOUR FRIEND!

That's right, the company that can manage to keep on keeping on, when all of their competition falters, is the company that has multi-tiered back-up systems in place so that nothing but the worst imaginable scenario could cause them to lose their ability to do business.

Tomorrow's biggest challenge?  EBT SNAP benefit cards (food stamps) and WIC acceptance.  The government does not allow ANY company to accept EBT payments online, so I have devised a plan so that all of you who do receive SNAP assistance will be able to use your benefits with efood2you.com!

But that's tomorrow's blog post.

Until then, all 23 of us here at efood2you.com want to wish you and your family, a very safe and happy evening.  We look forward to seeing you soon!

efood2you.com opens to the public in just 6 days!

But what exactly IS efood2you.com, and what can it do for you?

I've created this short video to hopefully explain in much greater detail, exactly what my new company does and how it can help you and the people you love the most.  If after watching, however, you still have questions, please feel free to contact us anytime via email at: info@efood2you.com, or by phone, toll free, at 1-877-529-8986.

That's right, for a flat delivery fee of $15.00, regardless of size of your order, you can have all of your groceries delivered right to your door within 24 hours of placing your order.  PLUS, we guarantee the freshness and quality of  every product you purchase.  If for ANY reason, you are not happy with any of the items that get delivered to you, simply inform your delivery professional that you want to return that item or items, and they will take them back gladly, with no questions asked, and your account will be credited the cost later that same day.

Sure, efood2you.com was created primarily to help people who can't easily get to the grocery store, but since this is a blog, are there any other practical purposes any of you can see this great new company filling?

I would also like to ask all of you who read this blog, to please post any suggestions for products that you would like to see offered on our website here, and we will be glad to get them loaded onto the website just as fast as we possibly can!
